In 6th grade so far, I like how all the teachers here are nice and amazing. After school, I like to go home and watch YouTube with my family or play a family game. I am really good at math. My goal for this year is to get an A+ in math all year. Everyone should know that I want everyone around me to be happy. My hero is my mother , she has made me the person I am and has saved me from danger. In 6th grade, I love the fact that we get to rotate classes now, when in elementary school we only stayed in one or two rooms. After school, I like to begin working on future episodes for my Thomas series on my YouTube account. I will begin scripting an episode or getting lines done and all that. I am involved with Science, Writing ,and 2nd semester Art Club. I am also looking to be in Math Club and the 2nd wave in Student Council. I am really good at remembering things and imagining what things will look like. I am also good at interacting with my friends. My goals for this year are to have all A's by the end of the year, to be a wonderful friend/student, and to meet all the RC points goals. I love making videos and scripting and getting lines done. I enjoy changing my voice to whatever person, character, or actor I can think of. I love it when friends help me out projects that I'm working on so I don't have to do everything myself. My hero would be Thomas from Thomas and Friends, as well as EnterprisingEngine93, DieselD199, PercyEngine619, SideKickJason, Ucwepn, ThomasWoodenRailway, MallardFan62 ,MrAwesomeTrainz, jLouvier, Tines Sensahthe, Geeb Machine, SamTheTrainFan, Little Engine, TrevorPalVa, TrainLover476, AflacCupSeries, DoubleEDud, Swagger42, NASCAR, MissOliverAndBlossom, DanielTheTankEngine, Train Ninja, and many more. Thomas inspired me to make my content about him because he is such a wonderful engine with great friends and a great heart. The guys and girls from YouTube inspired me to make my own account on YouTube for at first random things, but then I decided to do a Thomas series and it has been a wonderful adventure ever since February.
What I like most about the 6th grade is all of the fun activities we get to do. I like all my classes because the teachers teach us really well. After school, I like to play outside with my cousins and friends and get on my phone. I’m really good at multiplication and math. My goals for the year are to get straight As and do better in ELA. Everyone should know that I like playing agario and basketball and kickball. My hero is Martin Luther King Jr. because he showed everyone that everybody can go to same places and do the same things and not have segregation. In 6th grade, I like how people are getting along with each other and I don't see any fights around school. I am getting along with other people but I am not used to it. After school, I come home I do my homework then I go play outside. I am really good at drawing and making shapes that are 3D. My goals for this year are getting all As, and that’s what my parents want me to have too. Everyone should know that drawing is my best thing to do. It has something to do with math, which is what I really like. My hero is the one and only God because he gives me everything that I need.
What I like about 6th grade is that we have our own iPads. Another thing that I like is that the closer we get to the next quarter, the harder the teachers go on you. I am in Student Council. I make posters, do recycling, and help prepare for parties that we have in the school. I am really good at math. My goals for this year are to get my science grade up and overcome my fears. Everyone should know that I like to play around when I have permission. I like meeting new people. I am respectful to teachers. I am nice, and I’m a good friend. My mom is my hero because she gave me my life. Without her, I wouldn’t be here with you guys. My favorite thing about 6th grade so far is PE. I am really good at video games. After school, I go to Boost. Everyone should know that I like video games. My hero is Bill Gates because he invented the XBOX.
Congratulations to Marquisia, Ta'mya, Silas, and Alex for producing the school-wide PSA winner! After every class voted, their PSA was chosen to be the official TSGA public service announcement about digital footprints. Click below to watch it. This year the Royals won the World Series for the first time since 1985! School was cancelled on Tuesday, November 3, so that students and staff could go to the celebration and parade in downtown Kansas City. Crowds at the parade were estimated to be near 800,000.
