So excited to announce that Miss Aaliyah Perry was recognized for her entry into the PTSA Reflections Competition- Aaliyah competed against 6th – 8th graders from across the state and received an award of merit in the visual arts category!! Her piece will be continuing on to compete at the National level to compete for a high award! Please help me in congratulating Aaliyah on her amazing success! I have attached her picture for you all to see- it is truly beautiful and I have also included her artist statement so we can understand why she made the piece! Enjoy! Aaliyah will be honored at a ceremony at Turner High School this Saturday!!

Congratulations to Maggie Armintrout and Anaia Johnson, TSGA students, on their success at the 64th Annual Greater Kansas City Science and Engineering Fair. Their "Chicks Hatch Chicks," science fair project took first place in the Intermediate Botany and Zoology category. Way to go ladies! Congrats to Emilly Her- first place in 2D for 6-8th grade and Jazmine Pauly- second place in 3D for 6-8th grade! |
