On Friday, all of the yellow pack students and teachers went to the Nelson Art Gallery. They toured some of the interior galleries, and they also got to explore a glass maze outside. The SAASH Award goes to...MRS. SMITH!! I think we can all agree that this award is well deserved and that Mrs. Smith goes above and beyond every single day. Not only is she an amazing support to the students on her caseload, but she has strong, positive relationships with MANY other students in the building. She goes out of her way to let kids know that she cares about them, but will also hold them accountable and be consistent. This is the reason that so many students identify Mrs. Smith as their go-to adult at TSGA and someone who they can trust. She wears many different hats in the building and is always willing to take on whatever she can to help others, whether it be a student or teacher. Mrs. Smith, you are truly an asset to TSGA, and we are all very grateful for you!!
TSGA made their transition visit to the middle school. Students listened to a presentation about the middle school. They got a tour of the building and met administrators and teachers. They even got to try out lockers! TSGA is having a spirit week as we raise money for Pennies for Patients. Tuesday was Pajama Day. Student Council spent time after school to pick up trash around the school grounds. Thank you StuCo for keeping our school looking great!
