Last Friday, clubs met during seminar. Teachers sponsor clubs about different activities, and students choose a club that they'd like to attend during seminar. Below are photos from Mrs. Mueller's board game club and Mrs. Nix's coding club. Ms. Inverarity trained several students to help in the library during morning homeroom. These students help shelve and organize books, as well and check in. It is a huge help to Mrs. Nix, and the helpers are responsible and AWESOME!
Mr. Neri bet some students he would do push-ups if the Patriots didn't make it to the Super Bowl. He had a lot of push ups to do today!
Writing club was working on their final edits. Look for writing club pieces to be posted on the Bulldog Blog in the future! Ms. Williams, writing club sponsor, said, "Our writing club meets every other week. We are currently finishing our short stories. We are going to put our short stories and some of the poems that we write into a published book. We have scary stories, romantic stories, and stories about school. We will have an open mic night in April! This week we worked on editing our stories using rainbow editing and next week we will be peer editing."
During seminar time, students discussed why it's important to have a positive attitude. They had conversations using dice to discuss things they're confident about of proud of or thankful for.
