Mr. Young was nominated by Ms. Weilert.
Staff and students unanimously agree - Mr. Young is awesome. Josh Young understands the impact of positive relationships and its role in creating an encouraging learning environment for everyone. Not only does he exceed our expectations in classroom management and instruction, he also motivates and impacts the lives of our students. He has a true talent for working with people, especially children who are struggling to make a meaningful connection with another person. Josh is dedicated to and passionate about meeting the needs of all students, particularly those with exceptionalities. He often translates for students and collaborates with others to help kids be more successful. Josh is consistently reliable and graciously adaptive. He is remarkably patient and generous with his time. Whenever he has noticed a staff member or student in need, Josh takes the time to offer his support and follow up with sincerity. We are genuinely fortunate at TSGA to have Josh Young on our staff. Congratulations Mr. Young! We appreciate you endlessly.

My favorite thing about 6th grade is my classes. I also like getting to see all my friends. After school, I like to go outside and ride my bike. I also like to read. My goal for the year is to be able to get good grades. My favorite thing about 6th grade so far is that this school is challenging and not that easy. What I like to do after school is code on my iPad, do my homework if I have any, and then go outside. My goals for this year are to improve my grades, get them as I high as I can; improve my behavior; be helpful, responsible and respectful. I also want to be a good role model to others and a leader.
Let's end the quarter by rounding up your boots, hats, and other western gear and wear to school this Friday!
Students in mobile media have been learning about online scams. They looked at many examples and tried to figure out what they had in common. They also created their own scam ads using PicCollage. See some examples below!
For two weeks, TSGA collected donations for Savers. Each homeroom brought in clothes or other items to donate, which were taken to Savers. TSGA raised 530 pounds of donations to equal $106 funds for TSGA. Mrs. Mueller's homeroom collected the most donations. Student Council collected all the donations to pack them up for Savers.
